Description:

Triarachidoylglycerol is a triglyceride composed of three fatty acids, which is a major component of resveratrol-containing microvesicles. It has been used to study the viscosity of lipid monolayers and the transition between liquid and solid states in lipids. Triarachidoylglycerol has also been used in liquid chromatography experiments to study the properties of human fatty acids and their esters. This triglyceride is an important part of cell membranes, providing stability and helping to regulate membrane fluidity.
