Product Information

Name:
Tradipitant
Description:

Tradipitant is a chemical substance that belongs to the class of monoclonal antibodies. Tradipitant binds to the neurokinin-1 receptor, which is involved in the pharmacological treatment of symptoms such as depression, anxiety, and pain. Tradipitant has been shown to decrease locomotor activity and increase sleep time in animal studies. Tradipitant also binds to kappa-opioid receptors, which may be related to its anxiolytic properties. Tradipitant inhibits cholesterol synthesis by interfering with the HMG-CoA reductase enzyme, which is responsible for cholesterol production. This drug also binds to the neurokinin-1 receptor (NK1R), which has been shown to be involved in antidepressant treatment. Tradipitant has been shown to block skin conditions such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis.
