Description

D-a-Tocopherol is a vitamin that has antioxidative properties. It scavenges anion radicals, which are reactive molecules that can cause damage to cells and tissue. D-a-Tocopherol also lowers LDL cholesterol levels in the blood and has been shown to have anticancer activity. This vitamin also has transcriptional regulation properties, which may be related to its antioxidant properties.
