3,4,5-Trimethoxybenzoic acid 8-(diethylamino)octyl ester, hydrochloride is a chemical substance that binds to the intracellular calcium ion channels and causes an excitatory effect. It has been shown to cause cell lysis in wheat germ and influenza virus. 3,4,5-Trimethoxybenzoic acid 8-(diethylamino)octyl ester, hydrochloride also inhibits the production of TNF-α by activated tubule cells.
