Description:TAPSO, also known as 3-(N-Tris[hydroxymethyl]methylamino)-2-hydroxypropanesulfonic acid sodium salt, is a buffering agent with a pH range of 7.0-8.2 and a pKa of 7.6. As a Good's buffer, TAPSO has good physiological compatibility which is used in culture media and as a stabilizing agent for proteins in aqueous solutions (e.g. BSA).
