Description:Trendione is an analytical chemistry technique that can be used to detect 17β-estradiol and trenbolone in test samples. It is a sensitive immunoassay with good precision, specificity, and reproducibility. The technique uses monoclonal antibodies to detect the concentrations of estradiol benzoate and estrone 3-sulfate in rat liver microsomes. Trendione has been used in vitro to assess the effects of chronic exposure to 17β-estradiol on gene expression levels in fish cells. The redox potentials of the cells were measured as a response element for estrogenic activity.
