Description:
3-(Trifluoromethyl)-5-(phenyl)pyrazole (3-TFMP) is a photocatalyst that belongs to the group of pyrazoles. It has been shown to produce photocurrents and solar cells when exposed to light. 3-TFMP also has a high efficiency, which may be due to its ability to sensitize other sensitizers. This compound has been synthesized in nanocrystalline form and can be used as a sensitizer for multinuclear ruthenium complexes.
