Tributylmethylphosphonium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (TBP-TFSI) is a non-toxic ionic liquid that is soluble in water. TBP-TFSI has been shown to act as a conductive medium for oxygen ions at low temperatures, and its ionic conductivity increases with temperature.
