Triethylsilyl trifluoromethanesulfonate (TESPT) is a synthetic chemical that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of skin conditions, such as inflammation and cancer. It is an inhibitor of cellular target enzymes and inhibits the production of inflammatory cytokines. TESPT has been shown to be cytotoxic against cancer cells, which may be due to its ability to inhibit histone deacetylase activity. TESPT also has a number of other uses, including for the treatment of hepatitis B and C. The drug inhibits the synthesis of proteins by inhibiting the activity of different enzymes, such as hydroxylases, carboxylases, and phosphorylases. This inhibition prevents the formation of amino acids from carbohydrates or fats and leads to cell death.
