Product Information
- Dihydrogenistein2'-Dehydroxydalbergioidin
5,7,4'-Trihydroxyisoflavanone (5,7,4-THIF) is a naturally occurring compound found in the roots of the plant Pueraria lobata. It has been shown to have potent anti-inflammatory properties and has been shown to inhibit cell signaling pathways. 5,7,4'-Trihydroxyisoflavanone has also been shown to inhibit signal transduction pathways that are activated by ATP binding cassette transporter proteins and to promote energy metabolism. 5,7,4'-Trihydroxyisoflavanone inhibits the production of reactive oxygen species in vitro and possesses anti-oxidant properties. Structural analysis has revealed that 5,7,4'-Trihydroxyisoflavanone is a naturally occurring flavonoid with a highly substituted 4-phenylchromen-2-one skeleton. Molecular docking studies suggest that this compound may bind to ATP binding cassette transporter proteins as well as enzymes involved in energy metabolism
