Description

4',5,7-Trimethoxyflavone is a natural compound that is extracted from the bark of the tree species "Cinchona pubescens". This molecule has been shown to inhibit tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) production and some enzyme activities in mice with lung cancer. It also has a matrix effect on fatty acid metabolism and can be used for the prevention and treatment of obesity. 4',5,7-Trimethoxyflavone is genotoxic, meaning that it causes damage to DNA.
