• Description: Trifluoroacetic acid is an organic acid that is used in the synthesis of esters, ethers, and amides. It can be used to produce 3,4,5-triacetoxybenzoic acid (TABA), which inhibits the proliferation of leukemia cells. TABA binds to the active site of the protein runx2, which is involved in development and differentiation. It also inhibits vibrational spectra and chemical profiles that are related to cancer cell growth. TABA has been shown to induce autophagy through activation of AMPK signaling pathways in leukemia cells. TABA also inhibits lipid accumulation by inhibiting the expression of genes such as SREBP1c and ACC2.
