Description

Tectorigenin is a natural compound that belongs to the group of polyphenols. It has been shown to have antioxidant properties, inhibiting anion radical scavenging and neuronal death. Tectorigenin has also been shown to inhibit toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) signaling, which may be useful for the treatment of diseases such as myocardial infarct and oxidative injury. Tectorigenin can be used as a chromatographic analysis of biological samples and has been demonstrated to have anti-inflammatory properties in hl-60 cells.
