TOPO can be used to remove organic compounds from wastewater by oxidation reactions, such as methyl ethyl alcohols or methyl ethyl acetates. The reaction solution changes color from yellow to red during the oxidation process, which indicates the removal of these compounds from the solution. The reaction between TOPO and hydrogen peroxide produces heat and oxygen gas, which can be measured using calorimetry or spectrometry techniques.br>br
