Tetrakis[1-(Isocyano)-2-Methoxy-2-Methylpropane]-Copper Tetrafluoroborate is a technetium agent that is used in nuclear medicine. It is used as a radioactive tracer to assess perfusion and blood flow in the heart. This agent binds with oxygen to form pertechnetate, which can be detected by a gamma camera. The average uptake of this agent in the myocardium has been shown to be proportional to cardiac output, and it is an effective means of assessing left ventricular function.
