Description

Ursolic acid acetate is a natural compound that has been shown to have anti-cancer properties. It is an effective inhibitor of skin cancer cells in vitro and has been shown to be cytotoxic. Ursolic acid acetate has also been shown to inhibit the cell factor and mitochondrial membrane potential in colon cancer cells, which may be due to its ability to induce apoptosis. The most significant biological property of ursolic acid acetate is its ability to induce the m2 phenotype in B16 melanoma cells. In addition, ursolic acid acetate prevents oxidative injury by reducing reactive oxygen species levels and decreasing lipid peroxidation.
The analytical method used for ursolic acid acetate is electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). This method can be used as a rapid and sensitive technique for the determination of ursolic acid acetate content in herbal products such as fructus ligustri.
