Vinpocetine Related Compound A is a crystallized compound that belongs to the apocynaceae family. It is an endophytic fungus that can be found in plants, such as Tabersona, and is responsible for the production of tabersonine. Vinpocetine related compound A has been shown to have antioxidant properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the oxidation of lipids and proteins. Vinpocetine related compound A has also been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells and induce apoptosis. The chemical structure of this compound contains two chiral centers, which can result in four different stereoisomers (enantiomers). This compound is synthesized from diazoethane, hydrochloric acid, phosphorus pentoxide and chloride salts. Impurities in this product are reaction products with chloride or hydrochloride salts.
