Description:WS3 is a heparin-like compound that has been shown to have potent anticoagulant activity and a broad spectrum of activity against bacteria, fungi, and parasites. WS3 is synthesized in the dark by light exposure. The molecular weight of WS3 is approximately 10 kilodaltons (kDa). It has been shown to induce epidermal growth factor production in mammalian cells. WS3 also exhibits high resistance to metabolic profiles, optical sensors, and light emission. This molecule has been shown to be efficient for the treatment of cutaneous lesions caused by fungal biomass.
