DDR1-IN-1 also inhibits the synthesis of collagen and cancer cell proliferation. The structure of DDR1-IN-1 is similar to discoidin, which may be responsible for its interactions with markers expressed on cells and autocrine effects. DDR1-IN-1 has been shown to inhibit the activity of kinases such as PKA, EGFR, PI3K/AKT, JAK2, CDK4/CDK6, SRC, FAK and PDGFR.
