Description:V-9302 is a drug that inhibits the growth of cancer cells. It is a member of the sorafenib family and acts as an inhibitor of fatty acid synthase (FAS) and Vaspin, which are pro-apoptotic proteins. V-9302 has been shown to inhibit protein synthesis in vitro by binding to ribosomes, and also binds to various proteins in colorectal adenocarcinoma cells. V-9302 has shown efficacy against myeloid leukemia cell lines in vitro, but not against fetal bovine or normal human erythrocytes.
