Description:

Dibutyl DL-malate is a type of organic acid and a fatty acid ester that is used as an acid catalyst. It is often used in the production of malic acid, which can be found in foods such as apples and pears, or in the production of musca. Dibutyl DL-malate also has viscosity-increasing properties and can be used to produce polycarboxylic acids. This product has a high boiling point and an evaporation rate that are both low, making it useful for the production of paint and varnish.
