Product Information

Name:
ML 00253764 hydrochloride
Description:

ML 00253764 hydrochloride is a potent, selective and orally active small molecule ligand for the TRPV1 receptor. ML 00253764 hydrochloride has been shown to activate TRPV1 ion channels by binding to the extracellular domain of the receptor. This activation results in an increase in intracellular calcium levels, which may be involved in various biological processes including cell proliferation and apoptosis, as well as inflammatory and neuropathic pain. As a research tool, ML 00253764 hydrochloride can be used to study protein interactions with TRPV1 receptors. It also can be used as a pharmacological probe for TRPV1-mediated cellular signaling pathways and as an inhibitor of TRPV1 channels.
