Choerospondin is a protein that binds to the virus and inhibits its activity. It is also an inhibitor of vasculitis, which is an inflammatory disease characterized by the inflammation of blood vessels. The target of choerospondin is still unclear, but it has been shown to inhibit some enzymes such as phospholipase A2 and cyclooxygenase. Choerospondin can be used in vivo for the treatment of bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial enzyme hydrolysis and hydrogen bonding. Choerospondin has also been shown to be effective against melastoma cells in vitro when combined with magnesium oxide.
