• Description: Bendazac L-lysine is a coumarin derivative that is used in pharmaceutical preparations for the treatment of diabetic neuropathy. It has been shown to increase the levels of growth factors, such as insulin-like growth factor-1 and vascular endothelial growth factor, in diabetic patients. Bendazac L-lysine can be prepared by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) using preparative reverse phase HPLC. The fluorescence spectrometry of bendazac L-lysine was measured at 230 nm with excitation at 220 nm and emission at 255 nm. Bendazac L-lysine has also been shown to have an absorption enhancer effect on lysine, a necessary amino acid for collagen synthesis.
