Product Information
GSK LSD1 Dihydrochloride-d4 is a chemical inhibitor that binds to the active site of the enzyme lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and prevents its activity. LDH is an enzyme that converts pyruvate to lactate, which is then used as an energy source in cells. GSK LSD1 Dihydrochloride-d4 has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of Thp-1 cells induced by inflammatory bowel disease or all-trans retinoic acid, which are used for leukemic research. The LDH inhibition leads to decreased autophagy and cell death in vitro and in vivo. GSK LSD1 Dihydrochloride-d4 has also been shown to be less toxic than other chemical inhibitors when administered orally to leukemia mice.
