Isopyrazam also has synergic effect when used with tebuconazole, which is an insecticide. The toxicity of isopyrazam has been studied in rats, mice, and rabbits, showing no adverse effects at the doses tested. The major metabolites are fatty acids that are excreted through urine and feces. Isopyrazam may have bactericidal activity against bacteria resistant to other pesticides, such as carbendazim or thiophanate methyl.
