Product Information

Name:
BPN14770
Description:

BPN14770 is a natural product that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. This compound inhibits the release of intracellular calcium, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the conversion of dehydroascorbic acid (DHA) to ascorbic acid in cells. BPN14770 also has an immunosuppressive effect on wild-type mice and induces a significant decrease in camp levels. In vitro studies show that this compound binds with high affinity to cell surface receptors, including growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase and transferrin receptor, which are involved in uptake and trafficking of proteins. Studies have shown that BPN14770 has low potency against pharmacological agents and clinical studies are still needed to evaluate its pharmacokinetic properties.
