2''-Acetylastragalin is a natural product that belongs to the class of delphinium alkaloids. It has been found to have trypanocidal activity in cell cultures and has been shown to be effective against the parasite Trypanosoma cruzi. 2''-Acetylastragalin is an acetate ester of 3-O-glucoside, which is a metabolite of kaempferol and trihydroxyflavone. This compound also shows antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, as well as anti-inflammatory properties.
