4-Chloro-4'-nitrobenzophenone is a chlorinated aromatic compound that can be used as an inhibitor of the synthesis of nitric oxide (NO). It has been shown to inhibit NO production in vitro and in vivo. This compound is also an effective inhibitor of biomolecular, synthetic, and elemental analysis.
