Zirconiumacetatesolution is a particle that is inorganic and metallic in nature. It has a thermal expansion of about 6.3 x 10-6 K-1, which is comparable to the thermal expansion of fatty acids. Zirconiumacetate can be used as an adsorbent for the removal of fatty acid from wastewater, with an optimum concentration at 2.5%. This solution has a chemical stability that can last up to 5 years and does not require any special conditions for storage. Zirconiumacetate has been shown to have oxidation catalyst properties, including thermodynamic data and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, which allow it to produce zirconium oxide or zirconia.
