Thiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidin-5-ones are a class of chemical compounds that inhibit the activation of the 5-HT2 receptor. These drugs have been shown to be cytostatic and have potentiation effects when combined with phorbol esters and sodium salts. Thiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidin-5-one has been shown to inhibit the reaction mechanism of herpes simplex virus and cancer cells.
