Ethylenediamine-N,N'-dipropionic acid dihydrochloride is a chemical compound that is made up of two parts: ethylene diamine and hydrochloric acid. It is used to manufacture nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA), which can be used to remove heavy metals from wastewater. Ethylenediamine-N,N'-dipropionic acid dihydrochloride has been shown to be efficient at removing calcium oxide, one of the most common impurities in water. The processability of this product is also good, which makes it easy to make into a powder or pellet form.
