Description:

Ethylenediamine-N,N'-dipropionic acid dihydrochloride is a chemical compound that is made up of two parts: ethylene diamine and hydrochloric acid. It is used to manufacture nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA), which can be used to remove heavy metals from wastewater. Ethylenediamine-N,N'-dipropionic acid dihydrochloride has been shown to be efficient at removing calcium oxide, one of the most common impurities in water.
