Paprotrain also inhibits tumour cell viability in vitro by inducing apoptosis. In addition, it has been shown to inhibit the phosphorylation of kinesin and actin filaments, which are involved in cell motility and proliferation. This drug has prognostic value in prostate and breast cancer because it is associated with a poor prognosis.
