It also binds to the ryanodine receptor in cardiac muscle cells and inhibits ATP production by binding to the enzyme activities involved in mitochondrial metabolism. The concentration of acequinocyl can be determined using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) with a detection limit of 0.1 ppm.
