Description:

PPC-NHS ester is a monoclonal antibody that binds to the peptide sequence, C-CK-Tyr-Gly-Phe, in the antigen. It is used as an immunoconjugate for the treatment of cancer and diagnostic purposes. PPC-NHS ester has been shown to have anticancer activity in vitro assays with human breast cancer cells. The antibody also has diagnostic value because it can be used to detect the tumor marker CA19-9 in clinical samples. This antibody is a polymerase chain reaction product from a mouse hybridoma cell line and contains signal sequences at its N terminus.
