Product Information
3'-Hydroxy-3,9-dihydroeucomin (3'-HEDE) is a reactive oxygen species that is produced by the reaction of eucomin with radiation. 3'-HEDE has been shown to inhibit tumor progression and growth in preclinical models. It inhibits endothelial cell proliferation and angiogenesis in vitro, as well as tumor angiogenesis in vivo. 3'-HEDE also inhibits tumor development induced by TPA in mice, and prevents the activation of c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK). The inhibition of JNK may be due to its ability to inhibit ornithine decarboxylase.
