Description:
PKC2 inhibitor 1 is a small molecule that inhibits the PKC2 signaling pathway. It has been shown to reduce the severity of diabetic neuropathy in mice by inhibiting cell death and neuronal degeneration. PKC2 inhibitor 1 also decreased atherosclerotic lesion formation in a pharmacological model of an experimental mouse. This drug can be used to treat congestive heart failure, locomotor activity, and autoimmune diseases such as type I diabetes mellitus.
