The BC-1215 molecule binds to response elements in DNA, which blocks the binding of transcription factors and inhibits gene expression. It has been shown to inhibit TNF-α production in mouse tumor cells. BC-1215 is a small molecule that contains nitrogen atoms and lysine residues.
