Amido methyl meloxicam is a synthetic nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It is used to relieve inflammation and pain. Amido methyl meloxicam is chemically similar to the naturally occurring substance, meclofenamic acid, but it does not have the same side effects.
Amido methyl meloxicam is metabolized in the liver by CYP3A4/5 and then excreted by the kidneys.
