Product Information
RO495 is a chemotherapeutic agent that inhibits the growth of cells in culture by binding to the nuclear DNA and preventing RNA transcription. RO495 is a potent inhibitor of cell proliferation in both cancerous and non-cancerous cells, and is used as an additive in cell culture. RO495 has been shown to inhibit the production of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in mice with lung cancer. The drug also has some anti-inflammatory effects, which may be due to its ability to modulate TNF-α levels.
