Description:
Ofurace is a chemical pesticide that inhibits the growth of plants by interfering with the mitochondrial cytochrome system. It also has fungicidal properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit mitochondrial respiration and/or its chemical ionization. The active substances in ofurace are n-oxide, amide, and c1-c4 haloalkyl. Ofurace is used as a control agent for plant tissue and it has been shown to be effective against certain pests at an effective dose.
