Hedycoronen A is a diterpenoid that is found in the plant coronarium. It has been shown to have pro-inflammatory effects by stimulating the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as IL-12 and TNF-α. Hedycoronen A also stimulates the production of inflammatory cytokines, such as IL-1β and IL-6. This compound also has anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines that are induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Hedycoronen A is an immunomodulator that can be used to treat autoimmune diseases.
