Description:
Eclalbasaponin I is a chemical compound that can be found in the plant Eclipta prostrata. It has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the mitochondrial membrane potential and to induce autophagy and apoptosis in cancer cells. Eclalbasaponin I also has anti-oxidative effects, which may be due to its ability to inhibit cyclin D2 and human endometrial cancer cells. Eclalbasaponin I is found in food composition such as angelicae dahuricae, which is a type of radish.
