Description:GNE-207 is a peptide that selectively binds to the extracellular domain of the human erythropoietin receptor (EPOR) and is a potent EPOR activator. GNE-207 has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in xenograft models, as well as to reduce vascular permeability in animal models. In vitro, GNE-207 inhibits proliferation of human tumor cells and induces apoptosis. GNE-207 is also an inhibitor of angiogenesis, which may be related to its ability to inhibit endothelial cell proliferation and migration.
