• Description: Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that inhibits the H+/K+-ATPase enzyme in gastric parietal cells. Omeprazole impurity F and G are metabolites of omeprazole. Omeprazole impurity F is a metabolite of omeprazole that forms by oxidation of the methylthio group in omeprazole to form a sulfoxide. Omeprazole impurity G is formed by hydrolysis of the methylthio group in omeprazole to form an alcohol. The purity of this product is high and can be custom synthesized based on customer's needs.
