Product Information
Ridinilazole is an antimicrobial agent that inhibits the growth of microbes by disrupting their cell membranes. Ridinilazole has been shown to be effective in treating infectious diseases such as Clostridium difficile (C. diff), which is resistant to many other antibiotics. Ridinilazole also has anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of pro-inflammatory substances such as cytokines and prostaglandins. It is a new drug that can be used for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, which is a chronic condition characterized by chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract. Ridinilazole works by blocking the formation of hydrogen bonds between bacterial cell surfaces, leading to disruption of bacterial membranes and death of bacteria. The drug binds to specific sites on the surface of bacteria, inhibiting bacterial growth and replication.
