Description

17-Deoxyprednisolone is a synthetic glucocorticoid that binds to the mineralocorticoid receptor, which is found in cells of the adrenal gland and other tissues. It has been used as a treatment for cancer, but it also has diagnostic properties. 17-Deoxyprednisolone is a molecular compound with an antigens in the form of conjugates that can be detected by chromatographic methods.
