Description:Platelet Factor-4 (PF4) is an activator of G protein coupled receptors that belongs to the group of peptides. PF4 binds to the CXCR1 receptor and activates it, which causes a change in the ion channels. It has been shown that PF4 can activate other G protein coupled receptors such as CXCR2 and CXCR3.
