Product Information
Isoquinoline-6-carboxylic acid amide is a small molecule that has been shown to interact with the pam3csk4 ligand and activate the innate immune receptor Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) on human macrophages. Isoquinoline-6-carboxylic acid amide covalently modifies TLR4, leading to decreased expression of CD14 and CD36, which are involved in phagocytosis. Isoquinoline-6-carboxylic acid amide also interacts with other proteins, such as PKCε, leading to phosphorylation and activation of downstream signaling pathways.
