Description:

BD-AcAc 2 is a new synthetic compound that is chemically similar to the natural fatty acid butyric acid. The BD-AcAc 2 has been shown to have a number of interesting properties, including antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. It also shows potential for improving mitochondrial function, which may be due to its ability to increase ATP levels and decrease reactive oxygen species production. This compound has been shown to be safe in chronic oral toxicity studies at doses up to 500 mg/kg per day in rats, with no adverse effects on weight gain or food intake. BD-AcAc 2 is currently undergoing clinical trials for the treatment of obesity and related metabolic diseases such as type II diabetes and atherosclerosis.
